Beşiktaş sets its terms for a Wilfred Ndidi departure
Wilfred Ndidi could become one of the hottest topics of the summer at Beşiktaş. Sought after by several clubs, the Nigerian midfielder has already attracted initial offers, but these have failed to convince the Istanbul club's management.
According to Turkish media, clubs from the Gulf have begun talks to sign the 29-year-old. However, Beşiktaş has turned down these proposals, considering them well below their financial expectations. The club's executives are looking to secure a substantial fee for the former Leicester player, who was signed for €8 million last season.
On his side, Ndidi isn't ruling out a new challenge. Under contract until 2028, the captain of the Nigerian national team is also being tracked by several English clubs, who could soon enter the race and reignite the negotiations.
