Betis: Dani Ceballos’ agents growing impatient
After leaving Real Madrid just a few weeks ago, Dani Ceballos’ future remains highly uncertain.
While the Spanish midfielder is still eager to return to Betis following his free departure from Real Madrid, the Seville-based club currently lacks the salary cap space needed to finalize his arrival. According to AS, his representatives have begun to seriously explore other options and are now holding two parallel negotiations with other clubs.
The aim is to ensure Dani Ceballos isn’t left without a club as the transfer window draws to a close. Betis, for their part, remain in the running and have reportedly asked Ceballos’ camp to inform them before any final agreement is reached with another team, so they might have a chance to respond.
The Verdiblancos have other priorities. The Spanish club’s management want to sign a striker first, and must also arrange departures to free up salary space. Despite the player’s desire to return to his former club, time is starting to work against Betis.
