Betis want to extend two key players
Real Betis are preparing two important contract extensions. Héctor Bellerín and Marc Bartra, both under contract until 2027 according to reports from Spain, could soon receive a new offer from their club. Betis want to make progress on both matters before the end of the year.
Two key players Betis want to keep
According to Matteo Moretto, Betis plan to open talks with Bellerín and Bartra soon. The club’s Seville-based management are reportedly satisfied with both players’ performances and would like to allow them to continue their careers at the club.
At 31, Bellerín occupies an important place in Manuel Pellegrini’s system. The right-back has already started several matches this season and remains the club’s main option in his position. Marc Bartra, meanwhile, also continues to play a role in the squad. At 35, the centre-back has considerable experience and is still being used by Pellegrini.
The club’s objective is now clear: to make progress on both matters before the end of the year, in order to prevent the contractual situations of Bellerín and Bartra from becoming an issue next season.
