Having landed in Brazil less than a year ago, Carlo Ancelotti is on the verge of extending his contract as head coach of the national team.

According to information from The Athletic, Carlo Ancelotti is set to sign a contract extension with Brazil. The new deal will run for four more years, tying him to the Seleção until 2030. Only a few administrative formalities remain before it's official. Appointed as head coach last May, the 66-year-old Italian tactician has overseen just 8 matches with the Seleção so far.

And that's already enough for the Brazilian Football Federation to show their full trust in him. Even before the next big challenge, the 2026 World Cup—where Brazil will kick off against Morocco on June 13—Carlo Ancelotti is set to be locked in for the long haul.
