Still affected by Brazil's elimination in the round of 16 at the last 2026 World Cup, manager Carlo Ancelotti is preparing thoroughly for the next edition.

Nearly three months after being affected by Brazil's elimination in the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup against Norway (1-2), manager Carlo Ancelotti is already eager to try his luck again in 2030.

"The World Cup is always the most important competition. After a major disappointment, I must say, we are looking ahead to the next edition and focusing on the work that needs to be done. But we have confidence, we are motivated because I think the talent this country is capable of producing is truly significant; it is definitely there. We will build a good squad for the next World Cup," said the Italian coach.

As a reminder, just before the 2026 World Cup, Ancelotti had extended his contract until 2030.
