Brighton target Lamine Camara as Monaco set asking price

Lamine Camara could become one of the hottest topics of the summer transfer window. According to the English press, Brighton have joined the list of clubs interested in the Senegalese midfielder from AS Monaco.

The Seagulls are closely monitoring the 22-year-old's performances during the World Cup, where he is representing Senegal. His displays have also caught the eye of Newcastle, who are already reported to be in the race. After a strong season with Monaco, Camara has established himself as an indispensable starter thanks to his energy and technical quality in midfield.

Fully aware of their player's value, the Principality club have no intention of letting him go on the cheap. The Senegal international is currently valued at around £35 million, or just over €40 million. However, that price tag is unlikely to deter the ambitions of Premier League clubs.
