Burkina Faso: 2026-2027 season schedule revealed

The Burkinabè Football Federation has announced the kickoff dates for the 2026-2027 Fasofoot season, with three new clubs promoted from the second division to the elite.

The season will get underway on September 19, 2026, with the start of the Fasofoot Premier League, while the second division will kick off two weeks later on October 3, 2026.

As a reminder, Rahimo FC were crowned league champions for the second consecutive year, while three clubs, including AJEB and two giants—EFO and RCB—bid farewell to the top flight. Taking their place are AS MAYA, FOCUSPORT, and USCO from Banfora, who earned promotion to the spotlight after an exceptional season.
