MC Alger – Enugu Rangers today: which channel and what time to watch the match?

The MC Alger – Enugu Rangers match will be played this Friday, October 23, 2026 at the Ali-Ammar (Ali-La-Pointe) Stadium in Douéra. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Algerian time, or 7:00 p.m. GMT. As for the TV channel, it will be broadcast on the following channel:

  • TV1 (ENTV – National Programme)

A tense first leg marked by sendings-off

On October 18, Enugu Rangers won 2-0 in a heated encounter. The Nigerians had a player sent off for a red card as early as the 13th minute. MCA then saw Oussama Benhaoua sent off around the 52nd minute, before a member of its staff was dismissed in the 70th minute.

Rangers made the difference late in the game, first from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute, then through James Emo in the 87th. Mouloudia must now overturn a two-goal deficit to hope to qualify.

Rangers' complaint: accusations still disputed

After the first leg, Enugu Rangers announced a complaint to the CAF, alleging damage in the stands and notably calling for the second leg to be played behind closed doors. MCA disputes these accusations and maintains that some facilities were already damaged. At this stage, these alleged incidents should not be regarded as definitively established.

The Algerian club has also criticized certain refereeing decisions and the reception conditions in Nigeria. On the pitch, it can draw inspiration from its previous meeting with Rangers in 1976: after a 2-0 away defeat, MCA won 3-0 in Algiers.
