CAF: Champions League sees an elimination before kick-off
A chill in the air before the first whistle. Bo Rangers FC, champions of Sierra Leone for the 2025–2026 season, have announced their withdrawal from the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League.
Bo Rangers throw in the towel
After securing their ticket by winning the Sierra Leone Premier League, Bo Rangers were set to represent their country in Africa's most prestigious club competition. In the end, the club has pulled out. According to journalist Micky Jnr, the reason given is a lack of financial resources to cover the costs of the continental campaign.
