Raja Casablanca were held to a 2-2 draw by El Kanemi Warriors this Sunday, October 18, 2026, in Nigeria, in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup. After turning the game around in the second half, the Moroccan club conceded an equalizer late in the match.

The match got off to a bad start for Raja Casablanca. In the 6th minute, El Kanemi Warriors opened the scoring and forced the visitors to chase the game. The Moroccans responded in the 23rd minute through Sharara, who brought the two teams level. The score was 1-1 at half-time.

After the break, Raja took the lead in the 61st minute through Mathias Oyewusi. Paco Jiménez's men then appeared capable of leaving Nigeria with a win. But El Kanemi Warriors found the resources to equalize in the closing minutes and snatch a draw (2-2).
