Cameroon lose two core players for AFCON 2025, urgent replacements called

Cameroon’s preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations have suffered major setback with two key player officially ruled out of the tournament due to injury.

The Cameroonian Football Federation confirmed on Monday that midfielder Brice Ambina & central defender Jean Charles Castelletto were injured forcing newly appointed coach David Bago to amend his 26 man squad just days before the start of his final training camp.

To compensate for the absences, Pagou has handed late call ups to:

• Che Malone
