CAF has already made its decision for the highly anticipated quarter-final clash between Algeria and Nigeria at CAN 2025. The referee for the match has been revealed.

On Wednesday, CAF selected Somali referee Omar Artan to officiate the CAN 2025 quarter-final between the Fennecs of Algeria and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

As a reminder, Omar Artan previously officiated an Algeria match during CAN 2023 in Côte d'Ivoire, notably in the Algeria vs Mauritania encounter.
