Pape Gueye delivered the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to Senegal this Sunday night against Morocco. With a sublime strike, Gueye secured Senegal’s second AFCON title in history at the expense of Morocco. After the match, the former Olympique de Marseille player was, of course, relishing the moment.

"Honestly, it was a very tough match, we were determined to win here, in a beautiful country, with incredible supporters. We gave everything, we played fair. Senegal are champions of Africa and we are very happy," he said on M6.
