CAN Futsal 2026: the full group draw
The draw for the CAN Futsal 2026 has set the eight qualified teams into two competitive groups, with a high-stakes Morocco vs Algeria clash in the group stage.
Africa now knows its path for CAN Futsal 2026. On Monday, August 10, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) conducted the official draw for the tournament at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
Hosted in Morocco, the final phase will kick off on October 12 and conclude on October 21, 2026. Eight teams will battle to dethrone the Atlas Lions, who have claimed the last three titles.

Two groups on the schedule
- Group A: Morocco, Libya, Zambia, and Algeria.
- Group B: Egypt, Angola, Mozambique, and Tanzania.
Group A will feature a Maghreb derby between Morocco and Algeria. For the Fennecs, this marks their very first appearance in the CAN Futsal final phase.
Egypt and Angola will head into group B as the early favorites. The top two teams from each group will advance to the tournament semi-finals.
