CAN U20 2025: Mohamed Ouahbi reveals Morocco's squad

The Moroccan players selected for the CAN U20 2025 in Egypt from April 27 to May 18 are now known. This Friday, April 18, the coach Mohamed Ouahbi announced his list of 26 Atlas Lion Cubs on whom he relies to conquer a second title in this category.

"The list of 26 selected players includes players we have already worked with and who know our work strategy, except for two new elements we discovered between last February and March," explained the Moroccan technician.

Morocco, placed in Group B alongside Nigeria, Tunisia, and Kenya, will begin their campaign on May 1 against Kenya, before facing Nigeria on May 4, and then Tunisia on May 7.

"Kenya has a good team, just like Nigeria, seven-time African champions, who have six dual nationals. We know their strength. Tunisia, even though they were given a second chance, remained unbeaten for two years before we defeated them at the UNAF tournament. They will be seeking revenge and will come back with new ambitions," said coach Mohamed Ouahbi.
