Carragher’s Take on Liverpool’s Loss
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher analyzed the defeat, stating that Newcastle dominated the game from start to finish. Speaking to Sky Sports, He said:
“Newcastle didn’t just win, they completely crushed Liverpool. I mean that in every sense”
Carragher admitted that it wasn’t just about Liverpool underperforming, but rather Newcastle’s superiority on the night.
Salah’s Struggles Without Arnold
Carragher pointed to the absence of right back Trent Alexander Arnold as key reason behind Salah’s quiet performance.
“Liverpool may have stronger one on one defender but they'll miss Arnold’s passing ability which directly impacts Salah” He explained.
