Higher financial rewards offered by the new 2024/25 Champions League format for competing clubs, and with 36 team instead of 32, and 8 group stage match for each team, the value of the prizes has increased significantly.

According to givemesport, Record revenues are being seen by the teams leading the competition, led by the english team liverpool with 82.1 million GBP in the profit table.
