Champions League: Mbappé scores twice, Real Madrid lead Monaco at halftime

At halftime at the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid are deservedly ahead of AS Monaco (2-0). And it’s all thanks to a Kylian Mbappé brace.

On matchday 7 of the Champions League, Real Madrid are hosting Monaco this Tuesday night. After the first half, Los Blancos are in control on the scoreboard. First, Mastantuono sparked the move that led to the opener, with Valverde delivering the decisive assist to Mbappé (1-0, 5’).

Álvaro Arbeloa’s men then showcased their talent, especially Camavinga, to double the lead after a brilliant team move finished off by Mbappé (26’), set up by Vinicius. 2-0 at the break, and AS Monaco still have a chance to fight back in the second half.
