Next Tuesday, PSG will take on AS Monaco in the first leg of the Champions League play-offs. The referee for this high-profile encounter was confirmed on Sunday.

UEFA revealed on Sunday the identity of the referee who will be in charge for Tuesday’s Champions League play-off first leg between AS Monaco and PSG. The experienced Gil Manzano has been appointed—he previously officiated PSG’s emphatic win over Leverkusen earlier this season (7-2).

As a reminder, he also took charge of the match between Monaco and Manchester City during the group stage (2-2). In total, Paris has only lost once with him as the man in the middle: that was two seasons ago in a group stage defeat to AC Milan (2-1). Meanwhile, ASM has never won with the Spanish referee in charge (2 draws, 1 defeat).
