Days after Arsenal's defeat in the Champions League final against PSG, Patrice Evra posted a video that quickly went viral on social media.

In the video, Patrice Evra can be seen dancing next to the Champions League trophy. The sequence was clearly interpreted as a dig at the London club.

Evra’s gesture is far from trivial, given that he himself lifted the iconic trophy in 2008 with Manchester United. The Frenchman, who has been teasing Arsenal for years, also accompanied his post with a message that’s sure to spark debate across the Channel: "Guys, I tried to be courteous... but some Arsenal fans are getting a bit too comfortable. You finally won the war after 22 years of banter. Now, let’s kick off another 50 years of banter about the Big Ears Cup."
