Chelsea interested in Álvaro Carreras

The 23-year-old defender joined Real Madrid last summer from Benfica. This season, he has featured in 40 matches across all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists. Chelsea is looking to strengthen its left-back position and regards Carreras as a serious option. With Marc Cucurella’s future uncertain, the London club’s management is exploring several alternatives to prepare for next season.
