Chelsea set massive price tag for Malo Gusto
Chelsea have reportedly slapped a hefty price tag on Malo Gusto, valuing the French right-back at around £75 million, according to several sources close to the situation. The 23-year-old, who joined from Lyon in 2023, has steadily established himself in the Blues' rotation with already 134 appearances in a London shirt.
Manchester City interested, but no official offer yet
Manchester City are said to be closely monitoring the player's situation, though no concrete offer has been made at this stage. Pep Guardiola's side see Gusto as a profile able to boost competition on the right flank, but Chelsea do not appear willing to open the door to a departure easily.
At the same time, the Blues continue to bolster their defensive ranks, notably with the expected arrival of promising youngster Marco Palestra from Atalanta. This could, in time, further intensify the competition at right-back. Under contract until 2030, Malo Gusto remains a player over whom Chelsea retain full control, further strengthening their hand in any potential future negotiations.
