The future of Cody Gakpo at Liverpool is looking increasingly uncertain. According to several reports, the Dutch forward has informed the Reds' management of his intention to leave the club in the upcoming transfer window.

At 27 years old, Gakpo joined Liverpool in January 2023 from PSV Eindhoven. Since his arrival, he has established himself as a key member of the squad thanks to his attacking versatility, capable of playing both on the left wing and as a central striker. In 180 appearances across all competitions, he has registered 50 goals and 23 assists, underlining his effectiveness within a top-level team.

Under contract until 2030, the player had recently extended his deal with the English club. However, several European teams are closely monitoring his situation, and a departure is now a real possibility. Tottenham are among the most interested sides, although other clubs in Spain, Germany, and England are also keeping an eye on developments. Liverpool must now decide whether to open the door to a sale or try to keep hold of a player who remains a key part of their attacking rotation.
