The 2026 Copa del Rey final is now set, following the conclusion of the semi-final second legs. After two tense ties, Real Sociedad and Atlético Madrid emerged as the two sides that will contest the trophy in Seville on April 25.

Real Sociedad secured their place with a composed display in the Basque derby, defeating Athletic Bilbao 1–0 in both legs to seal a 2–0 aggregate victory. Their defensive discipline and control across 180 minutes left little room for their rivals to respond.

The previous night, Atlético Madrid booked their spot in far more dramatic fashion. Carrying a 4–0 advantage from the first leg, Diego Simeone’s side withstood a furious Barcelona response at the Camp Nou, where the hosts delivered a commanding 3–0 win. Despite the narrow escape, Atlético held on to advance 4–3 on aggregate, setting up a final showdown with Real Sociedad on April 25.
