The Portuguese manager explained:
"After the examinations, we found that the injury suffered by Cristiano Ronaldo was more severe than expected."
This development is forcing the Saudi club to adjust their star's recovery plan.
Cristiano Ronaldo will therefore travel to Spain to continue his treatment. Jorge Jesus clarified:
"Cristiano will now travel to Spain, like other players who have gone there for treatment when injured. His injury requires therapy in Madrid with his personal therapist, and we hope he will return quickly to help the team."
