CS Sfaxien: Players go on strike over unpaid wages

The Club Sportif Sfaxien (CSS) is facing yet another internal crisis. The first team players have decided to go on strike to protest the repeated delays in their salary payments.

"The first team is scheduled to play a friendly match tomorrow against AS Agareb, Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Tayyib Al-Mahiri stadium starting at 3:00 PM against Planet Athletic with the Scorpions," CS Sfaxien announced yesterday, Tuesday, March 25, 2025. While the fans eagerly awaited this event, the Tunisian club announced the cancellation of the match this Wednesday, March 26.

According to sources, the players have initiated a strike to protest the non-payment of their wages, a situation that led to the cancellation of a friendly match scheduled against AS Agareb. However, on its official Facebook page, CS Sfaxien did not mention this strike.
