English superstar Harry Kane has clarified his future. Despite serious interest from FC Barcelona and Al-Hilal, the English striker has informed Bayern Munich's management of his desire to extend his contract with the Bavarian club.

Harry Kane ready to sign new deal

According to Wednesday's edition of the German daily Bild, Bayern's management will launch official negotiations with the England captain at the start of August to finalize an extension.

The newspaper reports that Kane has turned down any talks with interested clubs, believing that Bayern Munich remains the best environment to continue his career.

The main focus of negotiations will be the length of the new contract. Bayern would like to extend their striker until 2029, while the player prefers a longer deal to stay competitive through the 2030 World Cup.

Since arriving in Bavaria in the summer of 2023 from Tottenham, Harry Kane has quickly established himself as one of the team's leaders. In 147 appearances for Bayern, the England international has scored 146 goals and provided 31 assists.
