Devin Titus bags assist as MAS Fes suffer CAF setback
Devin Titus laid an assist as MAS Fes played to a 1-1 draw with ASEC Mimosas in the first leg of their CAF Champions League second preliminary round tie.
The 25-year-old speedy winger set-up Moroccan midfielder Oussama Noureddine for the opening goal of the match in the 31st minute.
However, the Botola Pro League champions failed to see out the encounter as they surrendered their lead to Souhalio Bamba deep in stoppage time.
MAS Fes, as a result, will have to dig deep in the return leg next week in Abidjan, having conceded the crucial away goal on home soil.
Titus, on the other hand, took his tally to three assists and as many goals in eight appearances across all competitions since joining the club in August.
He put pen to paper on a three-year deal that's set to run until June 2029, joining from Betway Premiership outfit Stellenbosch FC.
Notably, the player has linked up with compatriot and former Stellies teammate Tshegofatso Mabasa at the Moroccan champions.
Meanwhile, with a lucrative spot in the group stage on the line, Titus and his teammates will be eager to secure a favourable result away in the second leg.
