Did Mbappé try to convince Olise to join Real Madrid?.. The France international responds

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has denied reports that he tried to convince his compatriot Michael Olise, the Bayern Munich winger, to join the Madrid club during the latest transfer window.

Olise’s name has been linked with Real Madrid several times, while Bayern Munich intend to keep their France international, whose contract with the Bavarian club runs until June 2029.

Mbappé refuses to interfere in Olise’s future

Asked by “ Sport Bild ”, Mbappé, who is among the leading contenders for the Ballon d’Or, reacted to the rumours surrounding his compatriot:

“Olise and Real Madrid? I saw the reports linking them, but I think it would be disrespectful to advise a player to leave. It would be unfair to Bayern.”

The France captain continued:

“Especially since Bayern are a great club where Michael can achieve a lot. Of course, every club in the world would love to have Michael Olise in their squad. He is an exceptional player.”

Since joining Bayern from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, the French winger has quickly established himself as one of the team’s main attacking threats thanks to his technical ability and capacity to make the difference.

In 114 matches with the German champions, the France international has recorded 108 goal contributions, including 50 goals and 58 assists.
