Eintracht Frankfurt: OGC Nice pushes for Elye Wahi

After OGC Nice were pleased with Elye Wahi's (23 years old) loan spell in the second half of last season, the French club is still eager to bring back the Eintracht Frankfurt striker.

The prospect seemed unlikely at the start of the transfer window, when the German club valued their player at 25 million euros. However, the situation for the former Marseille man has changed. While he was hoping to revive his career under new coach Adi Hütter, Wahi now finds himself once again pushed towards the exit, as reported by Nice-Matin.

This opens the door to another potential loan move to Le Gym, who are unable to pay the reduced price tag (around 15 million euros) but are open to a loan with an option to buy and partial coverage of his salary (300,000 euros per month). It's worth noting that other clubs are also in the race to sign the Ivorian, but Les Aiglons can rely on the international, who flourished at Nice during his loan spell, with his new agent now in discussions with the club's management.
