After a promising start with Olympique Lyonnais, Endrick faced a tougher moment this Saturday. The Brazilian striker, on loan from Real Madrid, was sent off during the match against Nantes.

The incident occurred while OL were leading 1-0. Endrick was penalized for a forceful tackle on Dehmaine Tabibou. After a VAR review, the referee deemed the challenge too dangerous and brandished a straight red card.

Reduced to ten men, Lyon nevertheless showed real resilience to hold onto their lead. This victory marks a sixth straight Ligue 1 win for Les Gones, keeping them firmly in third place. Endrick's dismissal will see him miss the next fixture against OGC Nice. In just six appearances for Lyon, the young Brazilian has already scored five goals, including a hat-trick against Metz.
