England: Harry Kane makes history
Harry Kane continues to make history with the England national team.
On Tuesday evening, Harry Kane started against the Czech Republic (3-0) in the Nations League. The Three Lions captain thus won his 125th cap. The Bayern Munich striker has become the most-capped player in the history of the England national team, level with former goalkeeper Peter Shilton.
Peter had held the record outright since 1990. He also congratulated the former Tottenham player. "I'm sure you'll surpass it in November, and you may even set a record that will never be broken. Because you continue to be in great form, Harry, you are still playing well and scoring goals. And I know all the dedication and hard work you have put into achieving this," said Shilton.
