Everton are pushing hard to sign Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace!
With the new Premier League campaign just days away, Everton find themselves racing against the clock to plug a glaring hole on the right side of their backline.
Last season, the manager turned to Jake O'Brien—a centre-back by trade—to cover that position, but it was always viewed as a temporary fix. As for Nathan Patterson, it seems his future at Goodison Park is far from certain, with the Scottish full-back apparently not figuring prominently in Moyes' thinking for the 2026–27 season.
That uncertainty has pushed the Toffees to explore other avenues, and their search has now zeroed in on Crystal Palace's Daniel Munoz. Interestingly, the two clubs are already deep in conversation over a separate swap arrangement that would see Brennan Johnson move to Merseyside while Dwight McNeil heads in the opposite direction to Selhurst Park.
However, a recent shift in the chase for Celtic's Alistair Johnston has prompted Everton to pivot. With that particular pursuit taking an unexpected turn, the club have now trained their sights firmly on the Colombian international Munoz, hoping to wrap up a deal before the opening whistle of the new season.
