Everton: Iliman Ndiaye responds to Al Hilal’s massive offer!

Despite a staggering financial offer from Al Hilal, Iliman Ndiaye has chosen to continue his career in England, where he remains a highly sought-after talent.

Iliman Ndiaye will not be joining Al Hilal. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Senegal international has decided not to pursue talks with the Saudi club. Despite the lucrative sums on the table, the 26-year-old winger wants to keep playing in the Premier League.

However, this decision does not guarantee he will remain at Everton next season. It mainly means the player will prioritize an English project should he leave the Toffees.

An especially lucrative Saudi offer

Al Hilal reportedly considered a bid of €65 million, plus €15 million in bonuses, to convince Everton. The English club, however, demanded between €75 and €80 million, with an additional €15 million in potential add-ons.

Ndiaye was said to have been offered a weekly salary close to £270,000—about £14 million, or over €16 million per season. That’s a golden bridge, far exceeding the roughly €2.7 million he currently earns annually in England.

Manchester United remain silent

Valued at €50 million, Ndiaye remains highly rated across the Channel. Manchester United had listed the Senegal international among their attacking targets early in the transfer window. The player himself admitted his fondness for Old Trafford, calling it his favorite stadium. However, no official offer or significant progress has been reported since.

Under contract until June 2029, Ndiaye is coming off a season with six goals and three assists in 32 league appearances. Across all competitions, he featured in 34 matches.

From Rouen to Everton

Born in Rouen, Ndiaye came up through Rouen Sapins, FC Rouen, Olympique de Marseille, Dakar Sacré-Cœur, and Boreham Wood during his development. He began his professional career at Sheffield United in 2019 before being loaned to Hyde United.

He scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists during Sheffield United’s promotion to the Premier League in 2023, then moved to Marseille. His stint in the French city ended with four goals in 46 appearances. Everton signed him in 2024 for around €20 million.
