Nasreddine Nabi guided Raja Club Athletic to a hard-fought 2-1 win over CODM Meknes in the Botola Pro League on Sunday.

The Green Eagles broke the deadlock through Aymen Barkok in the 43rd minute, before the visitors were reduced to 10-man as Reda Bounaga received a straight red card.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, Meknes rallied back to level matters thanks to Oussama Daoui who found the back of the net in the hour mark.

Raja restored their lead in the 80th minute via substitute Papa Sakho, who was subsequently sent off eight minutes later after a challenge.

Nabi's troops climbed to third place with 49 points on the Botola Pro League standings, with four fixtures remaining in the Moroccan topflight.

RCA trail log leaders AS FAR with three points in a heated title race that also includes defending champions RS Berkane, MAS Fes, and Wydad Athletic Club.

Notably, AS FAR visit second-placed Berkane in their next outing on Thursday, in what will be a top-of-the-table affair.

Meanwhile, the former Kaizer Chiefs mentor will now prepare Raja for a clash against relegation-threatened Union Yacoub El-Mansour.
