The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has officially announced the appointment of three senior officials from the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) to its permanent committees. This marks a significant acknowledgment for the Algerian body, further expanding its influence on the global stage. In a statement released on Monday, October 6, the FAF confirmed these appointments, highlighting the trust placed in its leaders by FIFA.

Already a member of the CAF Executive Committee, vice-president of the North African Football Union (UNAF), and a member of the Arab Football Union (UAFA) Council, Sadi continues to strengthen his international stature.

FAF Secretary General Nadir Bouznad, meanwhile, joins the Futsal Committee, confirming FIFA’s commitment to integrating experienced profiles from African federations. Finally, FAF financial director Salima Benaisti has been appointed to the Commercial Consultations and Marketing Committee, highlighting Algerian female representation in global football governance.
