FC Barcelona: Bad news for Alejandro Balde

Frequently hampered by injuries, Alejandro Balde isn't preparing for the season under ideal conditions with FC Barcelona.

The Spanish left-back has been training separately for nearly a week due to a groin injury, according to AS this Sunday. However, Barça is not overly concerned about his condition and plans to bring him along to their training camp in England on Monday, with a possible appearance in the friendly against Birmingham on Friday.

Not called up for the 2026 World Cup, Alejandro Balde lost his starting spot last season to João Cancelo, whose loan deal could soon become a permanent transfer to Catalonia.
