FC Barcelona: Frenkie de Jong's absence confirmed for the Clasico

This is bad news for FC Barcelona. Frenkie de Jong will not be back in time for the Clasico.

According to the latest information from AS, the Dutch international midfielder will not be available for Barcelona's upcoming fixtures. He is still not physically fit enough. Frenkie de Jong will notably miss the matches against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and Real Madrid in La Liga.

Still according to AS, De Jong is not expected to return to the pitch before November 1. His absence deprives FC Barcelona of an important presence in midfield for these two major fixtures.
