Roberto Carlos: €160 million lost, the Brazilian legend’s sad revelation

In a recent appearance, Roberto Carlos revealed that he had lost €160 million.

A legend of Brazilian football, left-back Roberto Carlos enjoyed an extraordinary career. The former player starred in the colours of Inter Milan and Real Madrid, as well as for the Brazil national team, with whom he won the 2002 World Cup. Now retired for more than ten years, Roberto Carlos revealed that he had lost around €160 million after his career during an event in Portugal.

“I had serious problems; some people emptied my bank account. Because of problems with my former agent and family issues, I lost 99% of everything I had earned through football. One day, I fell asleep, and the next morning, I was shown a pile of documents whose existence I was not even aware of. At that moment, I understood that I had lost all the work of my life,” he said.
