FC Barcelona: Luis Suarez gives his approval for Julian Alvarez

This summer, FC Barcelona set their sights on bringing in Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez. And it’s a move that Luis Suarez has endorsed.

A former player for both clubs, Luis Suarez has given his stamp of approval to the Argentine international’s profile as a reinforcement for the Blaugrana squad.

"Could Julian establish himself at Barça? Yes, absolutely. A player as intelligent as Julian, with the journey he’s had since leaving River, then going to Manchester City, Atletico, and the national team, would fit right in because he knows how to fulfill his role. He’s a hard worker. In Barcelona, he'll have wingers around him who will create plenty of chances. He’s got great passing, excellent movement. He’ll slot straight into Barcelona. But there’s another side: he’s playing for a big club like Atletico. Leaving won’t be easy. The coming weeks are going to be fascinating," the Uruguayan shared with Mundo Deportivo this Friday.
