FC Barcelona: Marc Casado set for departure

On his way out of FC Barcelona, Marc Casado is not expected to join AS Monaco.

According to Sport, Marc Casado is indeed set to leave Barça. At the moment, Betis is leading the race to sign him, with the club currently in pole position for his signature.

The Betis option currently seems to satisfy all parties involved in the operation. This is the case even though English clubs and Bayer Leverkusen are also in the running. Marc Casado has also turned down a move to Saudi Arabia, while FC Barcelona is demanding €20 million for his transfer.
