Already absent for the restart of La Liga against Getafe, Raphinha will also miss tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Galatasaray.

Apparently, FC Barcelona does not want to take any risks with Raphinha (29, 8 matches and 14 goals in all competitions this season). After suffering a slight injury to his right thigh with Brazil during the international break, the Blaugrana captain will remain sidelined a little longer than expected.

Absent against Getafe (3-0) in La Liga on Saturday and expected to return for the trip to Galatasaray on Tuesday in the Champions League, the Brazilian forward will ultimately remain in Barcelona.

The squad for the match against Galatasaray

Raphinha was not included in the squad selected by coach Hans-Dieter Flick for the trip to Turkey. The German coach will be able to count on Jesus, Jules Koundé and the much-talked-about Lamine Yamal to face Victor Osimhen and his teammates.
