FC Barcelona: three blockbuster signings in the pipeline

Although the summer transfer window has only just closed, FC Barcelona is already setting its sights on what's next. Under the guidance of Deco, the Catalan club has begun outlining a clear roadmap for upcoming transfer markets, identifying three key positions as top priorities for reinforcement.

The first objective is the center-back role, where Barça is searching for a left-footed profile who can bring stability without being at the tail end of their career. Two names keep coming up: Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund and Gonçalo Inácio from Sporting Lisbon, both closely monitored by the club in recent weeks.

Another area set for reinforcement is the full-back position, where the club aims to sign a powerful and versatile defender capable of operating on both flanks. Such a profile is rare in today's market, which will make negotiations all the more challenging.
