FC Seville: Akor Adams returns!
Long absent after shining in Ligue 1 under the colors of Montpellier, Nigerian prodigy Akor Adams is back in the spotlight. The Nigeria striker, who suffered a severe tendon injury, is nearing a return to competition, as revealed by his coach at Seville, Garcia Pimienta.
Signed last summer for 8 million euros, the 25-year-old striker will still miss the trip to Rayo Vallecano this weekend. However, the news is encouraging: Adams has completed his rehabilitation and resumed individual ball training this week. His return to group training is imminent.
Akor Adams ahead of medical forecasts
According to Pimienta, the physical prowess of the Idah giant (1.91m) could allow him to exceed medical forecasts, initially set at seven or eight weeks of unavailability. An early return that delights the Andalusian club, eager to rely on its offensive asset.
Promising in France, Adams now intends to make his mark in Spain. His powerful and efficient profile could be a major asset for Seville in the second half of the season. Fans eagerly await his return to the pitch.
