Fenerbahçe drops pursuit of Rafael Leão
Fenerbahçe SK has officially ended its interest in Rafael Leão, who had been touted as one of the club’s attacking targets this transfer window.
According to the latest reports, the Istanbul club’s management had thoroughly studied the AC Milan forward’s profile. However, following discussions, the club decided to withdraw from the deal. President Hakan Safi revealed that the player ultimately did not fit the sporting project the club had envisioned.
Rafael Leão is now expected to prioritize a move to England, with several Premier League clubs interested—including Manchester United. Meanwhile, AC Milan is undergoing a major overhaul, with several departures anticipated, marking a significant transition period for the Lombardy club.
