After a record-breaking season and a successful World Cup, Ismaïla Sarr is reportedly attracting interest from Fenerbahçe and Manchester United, though neither club has yet submitted an official offer.

Ismaïla Sarr could be one of the headline moves in the final stretch of the summer transfer window. According to an exclusive from French outlet Foot Mercato, Fenerbahçe have recently sought information on the conditions of a potential transfer. However, the Turkish club has yet to make any concrete move toward Crystal Palace.

Manchester United keeping a close eye

Manchester United are also reportedly interested in the Senegal international’s profile. The Red Devils are expected to lighten their attacking ranks before making a move. As of now, neither of the two suitors has put forward an official offer.

Crystal Palace are in a strong position at the negotiating table, with Sarr under contract until 2029. The 28-year-old winger is coming off the best season of his career, scoring 21 goals and providing two assists in 45 matches across all competitions. In the league, he found the net nine times and delivered one assist in 28 games.

The Senegalese star also shone in the UEFA Europa Conference League, which the Eagles won. With nine goals, he finished as his club’s top scorer in the competition and was named player of the tournament.

Four goals at the 2026 World Cup

Sarr then confirmed his outstanding form at the 2026 World Cup. Starting in all four matches for Senegal, he scored four goals and registered one assist. He netted a brace against Norway, found the back of the net against Iraq, and scored again versus Belgium, despite the Lions of Teranga’s elimination (3-2 after extra time).

With five career World Cup goals, he has become Senegal’s all-time top scorer in the competition. His consistency for both club and country is drawing ever-increasing interest in his future.

Proven Premier League experience

A product of Génération Foot, Sarr has played for Metz, Rennes, Watford, Marseille, and now Crystal Palace. He has now racked up 116 appearances, 27 goals, and 13 assists in the Premier League.

This wealth of Premier League experience could appeal to Manchester United, while Fenerbahçe would offer him an exciting new challenge abroad. Crystal Palace, however, show no intention of making his departure easy, reportedly demanding a particularly hefty fee to part ways with one of their main attacking assets.
