Fenerbahçe rejects offer for Sidiki Cherif

Sidiki Cherif's departure is not on the agenda. Fenerbahçe has turned down a proposal from Hamburg for the 19-year-old Guinean striker, who is seen as a player for the future.

The German club was hoping to secure his services on a loan deal with a purchase option. The offer included a paid loan estimated at 4 million euros, as well as a 15 million euro buyout option. However, this proposal did not convince the Fenerbahçe management. The fact that the buyout option was not mandatory particularly put off the Turkish decision-makers, who do not want to lose control over the future of their young talent.

Arriving with big ambitions, Sidiki Cherif continues to be closely monitored by his club, which firmly believes in his potential. For now, the Guinean international remains a key part of Fenerbahçe's plans for the new season.
