Fenerbahçe still keeping an eye on Ademola Lookman

Fenerbahçe has not forgotten Ademola Lookman. The Turkish club may revisit the case of the Nigerian striker, who was already a target during the last transfer window.

Fenerbahçe’s management had tried to sign the player while he was still at Atalanta, but negotiations ultimately fell through. Lookman then chose to join Atlético Madrid. Now, the Nigerian international’s name is back on the table in Istanbul. This lead could become a priority if Kerem Aktürkoğlu leaves Fenerbahçe for the Saudi side Al Ahli, who are reportedly preparing a bid worth €35 million.

With his pace, ability to beat defenders, and clinical finishing, Lookman fits the profile Fenerbahçe is seeking to bolster their attacking options. The Turkish club could thus make another move to convince the 28-year-old striker to make the switch to Turkey.
