Ferran Torres set to join PSG
Paris Saint-Germain are speeding up their moves in the transfer market. According to Mundo Deportivo, the French champions are in advanced negotiations with Ferran Torres, who could leave FC Barcelona in the coming weeks.
The Spanish international has reportedly given his verbal agreement to join PSG. He is looking to finalize his transfer once the World Cup ends. The deal is being driven by Luis Enrique, who is said to be particularly fond of his compatriot's playing style. The Parisian coach has personally led talks with the player over the past several days to try and close the deal quickly.
On the Barça side, letting Ferran Torres go would not be considered a problem. The Catalan club has already bolstered its attack with Anthony Gordon, while also working on bringing in Karim Adeyemi and, in the longer term, Julián Álvarez. Under contract until June 2027, Ferran Torres has made 207 appearances in the blaugrana shirt, scoring 65 goals and providing 23 assists.
