Ferran Torres wants to see this Barça player at PSG

Ferran Torres left FC Barcelona to join Paris Saint-Germain during the last transfer window. Although he quickly adapted to his new team, the Spanish forward retains a certain nostalgia for his former life in Catalonia, particularly because of Pedri’s absence.

Ferran Torres misses Pedri

Speaking on the Spanish programme El Hormiguero, Ferran Torres discussed his new life in Paris. The Spanish international explained that he had managed to transport his belongings from Barcelona to the French capital, but that he had been unable to bring with him the person he would have wanted most: Pedri.

During the week, I’m moving and transporting all my belongings from Barcelona to Paris. The only person I haven’t managed to bring with me is Pedri. I miss him a lot.

After several seasons at FC Barcelona, Ferran Torres eventually joined PSG on a permanent transfer estimated at less than €50 million. The 26-year-old quickly settled in under Luis Enrique. His start to the season has been particularly successful, with seven goals scored in just six matches.

A long shared history

Ferran Torres and Pedri have played together 175 times, both at club level and with the Spanish national team. The two players notably won the World Cup and the European Championship with La Roja, in addition to several trophies with FC Barcelona.

Today, their paths have taken different directions. Ferran Torres is continuing his adventure at PSG, while Pedri remains focused on his development in Barcelona. Their close relationship nevertheless remains intact, as the Spanish forward’s recent statement once again showed.
